Update Oct 11th: We’ve added Patrick Dorgu, Trey Nyoni and Matteo Prati to our list of FC 25 Wonderkids, as well as updated the potential ratings of some players.With a host of new features and a new class of Wonderkids, Career Mode is back with a bang in EA Sports FC 25 and there’s no greater feeling than nurturing some of the hottest young talents in world football to European domination, especially if you’ve taken your own club all the way up from the bottom of the pyramid.We’ve compiled this near exhaustive list of the best Wonderkids in every position for a variety of budgets. If you have a role in your team or a spot on your bench that needs filling, one of these Wonderkids will fit the bill.Then, to finish things off, we’ve also compiled a list of the U21 players with the highest overall ratings. These are the best and most expensive Wonderkids you can add to your team, but you’ll need one of the game’s biggest budgets to afford them!EA SPORTS FC 25 Official Launch Trailer | For The Club Watch on YouTubeBest EA Sports FC 25 WonderkidsWonderkid GoalkeepersWonderkid Full-backsWonderkid DefendersWonderkid MidfieldersWonderkid WingersWonderkid StrikersHighest OVR U21 in EA Sports FC 25Best Wonderkid Goalkeepers in EA Sports FC 25Guillaume Restes – Toulouse – 78 OVR/88 POT – £22.1mBart Verbruggen – Brighton – 77 OVR/84 POT – £15.7mJonas Urbig – Koln – 73 OVR/84 POT – £5.1mJames Trafford – Burnley – 73 OVR/84 POT – £5.1mPascal Loretz – Luzern – 71 OVR/82 POT – £3.1mRome-Jayden Owusu-Oduro – AZ – 69 OVR/83 POT – £2.5mAceves – Valladolid – 69 OVR/82 POT – £2.5mMike Penders – Genk – 65 OVR/83 POT – £1.4mDennis Seimen – Stuttgart – 63 OVR/84 POT – £1.2mThe youngest starting goalkeeper in Ligue 1, Guillaume Restes is an incredible talent who’s capable of slotting into even top teams and keeping his place for more than a decade. With sky-high potential to match his already strong overall, he’s the natural choice for big budget teams.Then, with Burnley’s relegation back to the Championship, picking up England U21 hero James Trafford seems less far-fetched. He’s got some good goalkeeping PlayStyles and a relatively accessible price tag.But if you’re working with a shoestring, check out Genk giant Mike Penders. At 6ft 7”, and with a potential ceiling to match the ones he needs in his house, he’s a very smart pick-up for Road to Glory saves.Just outside of the Wonderkid category, Lucas Chevalier, Filip Jorgensen and Anatoliy Trubin are all 22 years old, have potential in the mid-80s and a starting overall that makes them already suited to starting in one of Europe’s top 5 leagues.And although he’s not a very realistic signing, Brighton stopper Bart Verbruggen also needs mentioning, since he’s the youngest starting goalkeeper in the Premier League and technically still a Wonderkid (although he’ll turn 22 in August of your save).Best Wonderkid Full-backs in EA Sports FC 25Arnau Martinez – Girona – 79 OVR/85 POT – £22.5m – RBThiago Santos – Lille – 77 OVR/84 POT – £17.4m – RBRico Lewis – Man City – 76 OVR /85 POT- £13.2m – RB/CDMConor Bradley – Liverpool – 75 OVR/84 POT – £10.2m – RBFresneda – Sporting – 73 OVR/81 POT – £5.5m – RB/CB/LBLewis Hall – Newcastle – 73 OVR/85 POT – £6m – LBKevin Paredes – Wolfsburg – 73 OVR/82 POT – £6m – LM/LBDavid Mella – Deportivo La Coruna – 72 OVR/84 OVR – £4.7m – LM/RM/LBTom Rothe – Union Berlin – 72 OVR/83 POT – £4.1m – LB/LMJuanlu Sanchez – Sevilla – 72 OVR/83 POT – £4.2m – RBKyriani Sabbe – Club Brugge – 70 OVR/83 POT – £3.1m – RB/LBKassoum Ouattara – Monaco – 69 OVR/82 POT – £2.7m – LBMartim Fernandes – Porto – 69 OVR/84 POT – £2.6m – RB/LBPatrick Dorgu – Lecce – 66 OVR/83 POT – £1.8m – LBHector Fort – Barcelona – 65 OVR/82 POT – £1.5m – RB/CBAlmugera Kabar – Dortmund – 63 OVR/83 POT – £1.1m – LB/LMJosh Acheampong – Chelsea – 63 OVR/83 POT – £1.1m – RB/CBOctavio Ontivero – Lanus – 62 OVR/83 POT – £1m – LBHarry Amass – Manchester United – 60 OVR/85 POT – £650k – LBFull-back is an interesting position in EA Sports FC 25. Because of the new Player Roles, you can either go for the classic attacking wingback, or ask your player to step inside into midfield to help with build-up.Arnau Martinez shot up in rating last year thanks to Girona’s amazing 3rd place finish in La Liga, and he’s got a lot going for him: pace, technical ability and a good physical presence that makes him an asset to any team.But if you want physical presence, definitely look into Tom Rothe. He’s 6ft 4” with both the Aerial and Bruiser PlayStyles, making him a unique option in the left-back spot.For a more classic wing-back, Fresneda, Lewis Hall, and Kassoum Ouattara are all great.Obviously, Spurs’ £40m Wonderkid Archie Gray also has RB in his listed positions, but it’s not his best position by any means.On the cheaper end, the versatility of Kyriani Sabbe and Martim Fernandes make them easy to give game-time in a variety of positions. Whereas the English youngsters Josh Acheampong and Harry Amass have very accessible price tags and huge potential ratings.Or if you want to create an ultra-offensive team, you could use David Mella, a really good Wonderkid winger with a lot of pace and LB in his alternate positions!Best Wonderkid Defenders in EA Sports FC 25Castello Lukeba – RB Leipzig – 80 OVR/87 POT – £34m – CBOusmane Diomande – Sporting – 78 OVR/86 POT – £24.7m – CBMurillo – Forest – 78 OVR/84 POT – £17.4m – CBMosquera – Valencia – 77 OVR/86 POT – £18.3m – CBJorrel Hato – Ajax – 75 OVR/88 POT – £10.5m – LB/CBJarell Quansah – Liverpool – 75 OVR/83 POT – £10.2m – CBLeopold Querfeld – Union Berlin – 73 OVR/84 POT – £5.1m – CBChristian Mawissa – Monaco – 73 OVR/84 POT – £5m – CBPau Cubarsi – Barcelona – 72 OVR/88 POT – £4.7m – CBRav van den Berg – Middlesbrough – 70 OVR/84 POT – £3m – CBJorne Spileers – Club Brugge – 70 OVR/84 POT – £3m – CBEl Chadaille Bitshiabu – Leipzig – 68 OVR/83 POT – £2.3m – CBTobias Palacio – Argentinos Juniors – 68 OVR/84 POT – £2.4m – CBNathan Zeze – Nantes – 68 OVR/83 POT – £2.3m – CBDean Huijsen – Bournemouth – 68 OVR/83 POT – £2.3m – CBLucas Noubi – Liege – 67 OVR/81 POT – £2m – CB/RBAshley Phillips – Stoke (Spurs) – 66 OVR/83 POT – £1.8m – CBYaimar Medina – Independiente De Valle – 66 OVR/79 POT – £1.7m – LB/LW/LMFinn Jeltsch – Nuremberg – 65 OVR/84 POT – £1.4m – CBAntal Yaakobishvili – Girona – 65 OVR/82 POT – £1.5m – CBLuka Vuskovic – Westerlo (Hajduk Split) – 64 OVR/86 POT – £1.5m – CBAt the start of the season, Castello Lukeba has gone from strength to strength for a really impressive RB Leipzig team. He can play just about every CB role too, making him a versatile player in a top squad.Since Lenny Yoro just joined Manchester United, you won’t be able to pick him up permanently quickly, but there are tons of great, and overpowered, alternatives. Sporting Lisbon have a huge stable of incredible young players on their roster, but at just 20, Ousmane Diomande fits the Wonderkid label best. He has incredible pace, strength and tackling ability beyond his years.Another relatively expensive option for top clubs is Mosquera at Valencia. Pretty much all of his key stats are in the very high 70s, meaning without much training you can suddenly have an incredible all-rounder with a great stat distribution on your hands.Long-term Liverpool target Jorel Hato is listed as a LB, but fits the CB position perfectly where he can keep up with even the fastest attackers and come away with the ball.Pau Cubarsi has played in all of Barcelona’s league fixtures so far this year and has the joint-highest potential of any teenage defender in EA Sports FC 25.Giorgio Scalvini is very highly rated, but very slow, so I don’t feel like he justifies the price in a Career Mode save, despite having 88 potential. At the lower end of the overall spectrum, most of the players I’ve suggested have a good mix of pace, tackling and strength, but some are more specialised. El Chadaille Bitshiabu for example is slow off the mark but incredibly strong and tall – great in the middle of a back 3. Argentine Wonderkid Tobias Palacio also has very good stats for someone who’s just 17.There are actually a ton of amazing CBs who just age out of the Wonderkid bracket, so take a look at our page on the best centre backs in EA Sports FC 25 to snap them up too. Gavi and Warren Zaire-Emery won’t come as a surprise, but there are plenty of players to suit a variety of budgets.For teams pushing towards the top, Oscar Gloukh looks like a really solid attacking option with a lot of potential. But to add some steel to your midfield without raising its average age, I really like the look of both Yunus Musah and Pablo Barrios. The American Musah particularly has an amazing physical profile, with enough technical ability to really dominate in a variety of midfield roles.Career Mode legend Martin Baturina is still at Dinamo Zagreb despite multiple links with a move away. He’s even better in FC25 thanks to a host of new PlayStyles which make him play better than his already good rating.Sunderland’s flying start to the Championship has seen a massive boost in both overall rating and potential for Chris Rigg, who’s a great English player to pick up for lower league Road to Glory saves.If you’re not as cash-rich though, Kendry Paez from Ecuador now has a proper in-game picture, as well as really high potential. Benjamin Cremaschi, Tygo Land and, of course, Jobe Bellingham, also look like a lot of fun.Argentina has long provided EA Sports FC with ridiculously overpowered Career Mode players, and 2025 is no exception. The 16 year old Franco Mastantuono is one such attacking midfielder!Not to be outdone, you also have Premier League academy players to consider. Lucas Bergvall, Alex Scott and Brajan Gruda (the latter particularly) both have excellent starting stats to match their potential.Best Wonderkid Wingers in EA Sports FC 25Nico Williams – Athletic Bilbao – 85 OVR/89 POT – £66.7m – LM/RMLamine Yamal – Barcelona – 81 OVR/94 POT – £50m – RW/LWYeremy Pino – Villareal – 79 OVR/87 POT – £33.5m – LM/LW/RMJohan Bakayoko – PSV – 79 OVR/88 POT – £33.5m – RWMatias Soule – Roma – 77 OVR/88 POT – £20m – RM/RW/CAMJamie Bynoe-Gittens – Dortmund – 75 OVR/86 POT – £10.5m – LWAmad Traore – Manchester United – 75 OVR/85 POT – £10.6m – RMAlan Velasco – FC Dallas – 75 OVR/84 POT – £10.6m – LM/LWIoannis Konstantelias – PAOK – 75 OVR/83 POT – £10.6m – RWWilly Gnonto – Leeds United – 74 OVR/85 POT – £8.1m – RM/LMYankuba Minteh – Brighton – 74 OVR/86 POT – £8.5m – RM/RW (Quick Step+)Luca Koleosho – Burnley – 73 OVR/84 POT – £5.5m – LM/RM/RWWilson Odobert – Spurs – 73 OVR/84 POT – £5.5m – LM/RM/STRoger Fernandes – Braga – 73 OVR/86 POT – £6m – LM/RMYeremay – Deportivo La Coruna – 73 OVR/85 POT – £6.4m – LW/LM/RWMalick Fofana – Lyon – 72 OVR/85 POT – £4.7m – LW/LMAntonio Nusa – Leipzig – 72 OVR/86 POT – £4.7m – LM/LW/RMDavid Mella – Deportivo La Coruna – 72 OVR/84 POT – £4.7m – LM/RMAssane Diao Diaoune – Betis – 71 OVR/87 POT – £4m – RM/LMGeovany Quenda – Sporting – 70 OVR/88 POT – £3.4m – RW/LWRoony Bardghji – FC Copenhagen – 70 OVR/85 POT – £3.1m – RWNewerton – Shakhtar – 69 OVR/82 POT – £2.8m – LW/LMMika Godts – Ajax – 69 OVR/85 POT – £3.1m – LW/RWRuben van Bommel – AZ – 69 OVR/84 POT – £2.8m – LWNestory Irankunda – Bayern – 68 OVR/85 POT – £2.6m – RM/LM (Quick Step+)Adrian Mazilu – Brighton – 66 OVR/84 POT – £1.8m – RM/LM/RWBen Doak – Middlesbrough (Liverpool) – 66 OVR/85 POT – £1.8m – RWJulien Duranville – Dortmund – 66 OVR/87 POT – £2.3m – LM/RMLeo Sauer – NAC (Feyenoord) – 66 OVR/84 POT – £1.8m – LW/CAMJayden Addai – AZ – 65 OVR/84 POT – £1.5m – RWJustin Diehl – Stuttgart – 65 OVR/83 POT – £1.6m – LM/ST/LWMikey Moore – Spurs – 64 OVR/85 POT – £1.5m – LMSantiago Lopez – Independiente – 64 OVR/85 POT – £1.6m – RW/ST/LWIan Subiabre – River Plate – 64 OVR/80 POT – £1.2m – LW/STMustafa Hekimoglu – Besiktas – 62 OVR/86 POT – £1.1m – ST/LW/RWThe winger position holds the highest concentration of certified Wonderkids in EA Sports FC 25, thanks mostly to Nestory Irankunda and Yankuba Minteh, both of whom have Quick Step+ from the start of the game. I’d be looking into taking them on loan with a buy option as soon as possible.In a similar price bracket, Malick Fofana looks great, as does Newerton and Ruben van Bommel (son of legendary hit-man Mark van Bommel). Luca Koleosho has made a great start in the Championship for Burnley, while Roony Bardghji – who scored an incredible volley against Manchester United in the Champion’s League if you remember – is really easy to sign and a great technical dribbler.If you’re looking to pick up the impressive Jamie Gittens after his performances in the Champion’s League for Dortmund, he’s still listed as “Jamie Bynoe-Gittens” in-game despite his recent change. While you’re in Dortmund though, be sure to check out the similar Julien Duranville if you’re on a smaller budget!Best Wonderkid Strikers in EA Sports FC 25Benjamin Sesko – Leipzig – 80 OVR/89 POT – £40.4m – STYoussoufa Moukoko – Nice (Dortmund) – 77 OVR/85 POT – £19.5m – STEndrick – Real Madrid – 77 OVR/91 POT – £20.5m – ST/RWMathys Tel – Bayern – 77 OVR/88 POT – £19.5m – ST/LM/RMMarcos Leonardo – Al Hilal – 77 OVR/85 POT – £20.5m – STElye Wahi – Marseille – 77 OVR/84 POT – £18.3m – ST (Acrobat+)Vitor Roque – Betis (Barcelona) – 76 OVR/87 POT – £14m – ST/RW/LWEvan Ferguson – Brighton – 74 OVR/86 POT – £8.5m – STFacundo Farias – Inter Miami – 74 OVR/84 POT – £8.1m – ST/CAMEliesse Ben Seghir – Monaco – 74 OVR/85 POT – £7.5m – LM/CAM/STJhon Duran – Aston Villa – 74 OVR/83 POT – £10.6m – STKarim Konate – Salzburg – 73 OVR/87 OVR – £6.4m – STYoan Bonny – Parma – 73 OVR/83 POT – £5.5m – STSantiago Castro – Bologna – 73 OVR/82 POT – £5.5m – ST/RWSemih Kilicsoy – Besiktas – 72 OVR/88 POT – £5m – ST/LW/RMKenan Yildiz – Juventus – 70 OVR/85 POT – £3.2m – LW/STGeorge Ilenikhena – Monaco – 70 OVR/86 POT – £3.4m – STKrisztian Lisztes – Frankfurt – 69 OVR/85 POT – £3.1m – CAM/STDeivid Washington – Chelsea – 69 OVR/82 POT – £2.8m – ST/LM/CAMMateo Joseph – Leeds United – 68 OVR/79 POT – £2.3m – STMarc Guiu – Chelsea – 67 OVR/84 POT – £2.2m – STNelson Weiper – Mainz – 66 OVR/85 POT – £1.9m – STAllen Obando – BSC – 66 OVR/83 POT – £1.9m – STParis Brunner – Cercle Brugge (Monaco) – 65 OVR/87 POT – ST/LMEthan Wheatley – Manchester United – 64 OVR/83 POT – £1.3m – STStriker is a tough position for Wonderkids, particularly since the switch to EA Sports FC and the introduction of PlayStyles. Finishing and shot power are very important and these are two areas that tend to be lacking in young players.To make matters worse, two of the very best Wonderkids, Youssoufa Moukoko and Vitor Roque are out on loan from their parent clubs and not available to sign in the first season. However, there are still some really nice players you can pick up.Mathys Tel just keeps getting better and better and is now very useable right from the off at a host of top clubs. It’s not very realistic, but you could frame it as him lacking game-time behind Harry Kane, or a situation like Moise Kean leaving Juventus.Speaking of Juventus, you could break the Old Lady’s heart by stealing away every Bianconeri’s current favourite player, Kenan Yildiz, for a cheap fee before his overall shoots up across the course of this season – it looks like it’ll be his real breakout year.But for a good mix of pace, strength and shooting ability, take a look at Mateo Joseph at Leeds United (who’s many fans’ hot tip for Championship top goalscorer) and Jhon Duran, who many people will have seen scoring an absolute banger in the Premier League recently.Santiago Castro, who’s getting minutes in the Champion’s League for Bologna, also looks very good, as do the movement stats on Facundo Farias, while Karim Konate has received a massive buff from his EA FC 24 rating to now have some great all-round stats.But if it’s pure potential you’re after, then Semih Kilicsoy and George Ilenikhena can’t be ignored – both have a starting potential growth of +16.Highest OVR U21 in EA Sports FC 25Jude Bellingham – Real Madrid – 90 OVR/94 POT – £148.5m – CAM/CMFlorian Wirtz – Leverkusen – 88 OVR/92 POT – £113.5m – CAM/LMJamal Musiala – Bayern – 87 OVR/93 POT – £108.5m – CAM/LM/CMPedri – Barcelona – 86 OVR/90 POT – £84m – CM/LWNico Williams – Athletic Bilbao – 85 OVR/89 POT – £66.7m – LM/RMGavi – Barcelona – 83 OVR/90 POT – £60m – CM/LWEduardo Camavinga – Real Madrid – 83 OVR/90 POT – £62.5m – CM/CDM/LBXavi Simons – Leipzig – 83 OVR/89 POT – £49.5m – CAM/LWSavinho – Man City – 82 OVR/88 POT – £40m – LW/LMDestiny Udogie – Spurs – 82 OVR/86 POT – £35m – LBLamine Yamal – Barcelona – 81 OVR/94 POT – £50m – RW/LWBalde – Barcelona – 81 OVR/89 POT – £46m – LB/RB/LMWarren Zaire-Emery – PSG – 80 OVR/90 POT – £37.5m – CM/CDMMalo Gusto – Chelsea – 80 OVR/86 POT – £27m – RBBradley Barcola – PSG – 80 OVR/87 POT – £36.5m – LW/RWJohan Bakayoko – PSV – 79 OVR/88 POT – £33.5m – RW/RMAlejandro Garnacho – Manchester United – 79 OVR/87 POT – £33m – LM/RMAntonio Silva – Benfica – 79 OVR/87 POT – £30.5m – CBBenjamin Sesko – Leipzig – 79 OVR/88 POT – £34m – STYeremy Pino – Villareal – 79 OVR/87 POT – £33.5m – LM/LW/RMJoao Neves – PSG – 79 OVR/88 POT – £32m – CM/CDMPape Sarr – Spurs – 79 OVR/85 POT – £22m – CDM/CMCastello Lukeba – Leipzig – 79 OVR/86 POT – £28m – CBArnau Martinez – Girona – 79 OVR/85 POT – £22.5m – RB/CBTino Livramento – Newcastle – 78 OVR/85 POT – £23m – RB/LBFrancisco Conceicao – Juventus (Porto) – 78 OVR/85 POT – RM/RWOusmane Diomande – Sporting – 78 OVR/86 POT – £24.5m – CBMurillo – Forest – 78 OVR/84 POT – £17.5m – CBGiorgio Scalvini – Bergamo Calcio – 78 OVR/88 POT – £24.5m – CBAdam Wharton – Crystal Palace – 78 OVR/85 POT – £22m – CDM/CMMax Beier – Dortmund – 78 OVR/85 POT – £24.5m – ST/LWHarvey Elliott – Liverpool – 78 OVR/86 POT – £26.8m – CAM/CM/RWGuillaume Restes – Toulouse – 78 OVR/88 POT – £22m – GKRasmus Hojlund – Manchester United – 78 OVR/85 POT – £24.5m – STArda Guler – Real Madrid – 78 OVR/90 POT – £28.5m – CAM/RMLeny Yoro – Manchester United – 78 OVR/86 POT – £23.5m – CBEndrick – Real Madrid – 77 OVR/91 POT – £20.5m – ST/RWMarcos Leonardo – Al Hilal – 77 OVR/85 POT – £20.5m – STAlberto Moleiro – Las Palmas – 77 OVR/87 POT – £19.5m – LM/CM/CAMHeorhii Sudakov – Shakthar – 77 OVR/86 POT – £20m – CAM/CMMatias Soule – Roma – 77 OVR/88 POT – £20m – RM/RW/CAMLucas Beraldo – PSG – 77 OVR/86 POT – £18.5m – CB/LBThiago Santos – Lille – 77 OVR/84 POT – £17.4m – RBMosquera – Valencia – 77 OVR/86 POT – £18.3m – CBLevi Colwill – Chelsea – 77 OVR/84 POT – £17m – CB/LBKobbie Mainoo – Manchester United – 77 OVR/87 POT – £18m – CDM/CMMathys Tel – Bayern – 77 OVR/88 POT – £19.5m – ST/LM/RMFares Chaibi – Frankfurt – 77 OVR/87 POT – £20m – CAM/LW/STAnsu Fati – Barcelona – 77 OVR/85 POT – £20m – CAM/LM/STMilos Kerkez – Bournemouth – 77 OVR/84 POT – £17m – LBBest EA Sports FC 25 GoalkeepersBest EA Sports FC 25 CBsBest EA Sports FC 25 LBs/RBsBest EA Sports FC 25 CAMs/CMs/CDMsBest EA Sports FC 25 WingersBest EA Sports FC 25 Strikers
